APPLICATION OF STRUCTURING MODELS IN ANALYSIS OF HISTORY EVENTS
Last modified: 2018-11-04
Abstract
The structured model in history learning is the derivative of speculative philosophical thinking. Adherents of speculative philosophy believe that history as an event has the same and constant basic pattern. The basic pattern is that every historical event has an initial process (birth), a developing process, a process of triumph, a process of decline, and destruction (exhausted). This pattern applies to any historical event, whether in the form of royal history, civilization, or historical revolt. Although it cannot be denied that every historical event does not always have all the stages of the structure pattern, sometimes after a kingdom is formed (born) it immediately reaches the peak of its glory, and some are suddenly destroyed. In every pattern of change movement is always examined facts, concepts, and principles or historical causality. This is to analyze the causes or factors that cause any changes that occur, then the consequences or the resulting effects. The application of a structured pattern is also able to analyze the direct cause or cause of supporting the occurrence of an event. Thinking analysis also guides students to find the values contained in each historical event. This research is a development research, using research and development methods. This study produced a history book of 'Nusantara Zaman Pengaruh Hindu-Buddha' which was written based on a structured pattern. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the structured model is able to improve the power of students' analysis of historical event.
